The 20th Anniversary Edition of The Shadow of the Wind

I was asked by Orion Books to create the artwork for the Cover of the 20th Anniversary Edition
based on a photograph on the original cover.
The finshed cover has a trompe l'oeil effect, with the character seeming to step out of the page.
