Since beginning my art career, I have made work to commission. Some commissions have been based on a client's favorite book, a special poem, or a cherished place.
Occasionally they've included creating buildings as a keepsake, typically 'a house'.
'Wild Flowers' fabric is a recollection of my early childhood journeys across the British landscape in discovery of native flora, initially inspired by illustrations from an early 19th century book, 'Field Guide to Wild Flowers in Britain'.
The original colourway was released in 2012. It has been printed in many different colourways since it was first released.
The fabric measures 45 cm x 67 cm, is presented with a ribbon bow, and includes a small card containing artist's signature.
