Tunnel Books Workshop at The V&A Museum

I will be running a one-day workshop at The V&A Museum on Saturday 3rd September.

Using a variety of paper and paper crafting techniques, you will learn how to plan, design and make your own tunnel book inspired by the V&A’s collection.

Behind the Scenes at The V&A Museum, viewing their recent acquisition of Paper Peepshows from The Gestetner Collection

In preparation for an upcoming workshop at the V&A (details to come soon),
I visited the V&A's new collection of Paper Peepshows (or Tunnel Books) as they are also called.
These wonderful peepshows in the photographs below date from 1840-1860,
when these books were very popular as souvenirs or mementos to mark a special occasion.
