Update on my Kickstarter Campaign: 'Into the Dark Woods' Week 3

I'm now half way into my campaign www.kickstarter.com/projects/1321122640/into-the-dark-woods
There is still 23 days left to make a pledge. The fun part will come after you've made a pledge, as 'a backer', you'll be able to follow my book as it develops, with exclusive access to behind the scenes.

This is a collection of pieces I made from various past projects.

In my new book, I'll be showing you how to create seven unique paper sculptures, with tips on how you can add detail and texture to your models. In the kickstarter updates (exclusive only to backers of my campaign), I'll be showing the working-out stages of some of the paper templates, giving you an insight into how each template is designed by hand.

Installation at National Trust Peckover House in Cambridgeshire 2019

Lord Peckovers Library Project 2019 opens at Peckover House and Garden.

Peckover House in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire

An exhibition celebrating Lord Peckover's life and his passion for book collecting.
His collection of rare books and manuscripts were sold off following his death in 1919. To mark the centenary of his death, Peckover House and Gardens have received a lottery grant to find the lost volumes and bring them back to the library for the first time in over 50 years.

An installation of my art-works compliment some of these returned 'lost volumes'.

I also worked with volunteers, making origami paper boats as a symbol for something they themselves had lost, and these are included in the exhibition.

The Exhibition runs until November 2109

Spaces Available for Week Long Residential Workshop in Southern France

I've been invited to run a week long residential workshop in Toulouse, France
from Saturday 13th - 20th July.

It would be wonderful if you could join me for a week in this stunning location.

During your stay, we will be taking inspiration from enchanting surroundings,
through sketches and photographs. Back in the studio we will be building up a series of paper-cut panels.
During the first half of the week, you will be guided through the stages of making a paper-cut light box, using led lighting to light up your work.
Mid-week we will visit a local brocante market where we can buy vintage trimmings to embellish a tunnel book that we will be creating during the second half of the week, building on and developing your paper cutting skills.
This is the first time that I have been invited to teach at Chateau Dumas, and the loaction seems like the perfect retreat, whereby you will have the time and space to allow you
to really elaborate on your designs.

If you're interested in making a booking, or you'd like to discover more about my workshop and the venue
visit,
