I have waited a long time to see a retrospective of Cornell's work.
I would visit every day, if I could.

Floral headpiece

My friend got married at the weekend.
For her wedding day, she asked me to create a paper floral headpiece, incorporating some of her favourite flowers. As her and her fiance were getting married in a place called 'The Garden Station', (a restored Victorian railway station in a woodland garden), it seemed apt to include some of the wild flowers in bloom there.
The flowers are made from paper cut from this vintage children's book.

(Forget-me-nots, Buttercups, California poppies and Aquilegia sugar plum fairy)

Here are some photos of the enchanting venue, and 'the bride' on her wedding day.

I also made their wedding gift.
